Tori Mellott, design editor for Traditional Home magazine, will moderate a panel discussion on the “Art of Style.”

Design Editor for Traditional Home magazine, Tori Mellott, will moderate a panel discussion exploring the essence of style and the art of designing stylish interiors with a few of Washington, DC’s finest interior designers.

Darryl Carter’s design vocabulary honors classical elements of the past and present; balancing the modern with the antique and the simple with the ornate. His projects are routinely featured on the covers and pages of the industry’s most preeminent shelter publications, earning him accolades that through the years have included recognition on Elle Décor’s “A-List” and Architectural Digest’s “AD-100”. Darryl has authored two best-selling books, The New Traditional and The Collected Home.

Inspired by acres of lush Virginia countryside, Barry Dixon is known for a distinct aesthetic that blends Western styles with global influences from a childhood spent abroad. With projects spanning the world, Barry imagines interiors that infuse artifacts and antiques with present-day motifs—all preserving the history and personality of the home's owners and their treasures. Barry's work is featured in Barry Dixon Interiors and Farrow & Ball: The Art of Color, both by Brian Coleman (author) and Edward Addeo (photographer) and Barry Dixon Inspirations and Fortuny Interiors, both by Brian Coleman (author) and Erik Kvalsvik (photographer).

Maria Crosby Pollard founded her firm, Crosby Designs, LLC, after working for ten years in New York with some of the most well-known designers in the country: Cullman & Kravis, David Easton, Charlotte Moss, and Katie Ridder. Her background in drawing and painting heavily influences her process and the composition in her designs. Known for inspired use of antiques and color, her recent work includes projects in Washington and Virginia as well as Aspen, Sea Island, Locust Valley, Cashiers, NC and Rehoboth Beach.
