Emma Bazilian, Moderator

Emma Bazilian is a writer and editor and is the content director at FREDERIC magazine and FSCO Media. She was previously an editor at House Beautiful magazine, where she coined the term “grandmillenial”. An avid needlepointer and collector of vintage fabrics, she lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Emma is co-author of the popular book, Charm School

Peter Pennoyer

Peter Pennoyer

Peter Pennoyer is the founding partner of Peter Pennoyer Architects, the New York-based architecture and design firm, with an office in Miami. Peter is a member of Architectural Digest’s AD100 and a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects. He is the co-author, with Anne Walker, of five books on twentieth-century American architects and the author of A House in the Country, written with his wife, interior designer Katie Ridder. Recent projects include a house for the Jeff Koons family, an Art Deco style apartment building on Madison Avenue and Rowdy Meadow, an award-winning Czech Cubist style house in Ohio, which is also the subject of a book  by the same name. The firm's newest book, Peter Pennoyer Architects: City | Country, was recently published by Vendome Press.

Katie Ridder

Katie Ridder

As Architectural Digest observed, interior designer Katie Ridder’s interiors are "a richly layered extravaganza of exotic patterns and bright hues, peppered with venerable antiques.” A member of Elle Décor's A-List, she has appeared on the House Beautiful and New York magazine's “Top 100” designer lists. Clients from Switzerland to Kentucky have commissioned her to design the interiors of spaces as varied as Japanese pavilions, Palm Beach estates, Park Avenue apartments, and downtown lofts. Her successful wallpaper and fabric lines are represented at Holland & Sherry showrooms throughout the country, as well as in Europe. Her work has been published in Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, Veranda, Town & Country, House & Garden, House Beautiful, The New York Times and Wall Street Journal. Katie’s first book, Rooms, was published in 2011. A House in the Country, co-authored with her husband, architect Peter Pennoyer, features the couple’s house and garden in Millbrook, New York. Katie’s latest book, More Rooms, was published in September 2020. Katie is a member of the Friends of Horticulture at Wave Hill, and she serves on the board of the Garden Conservancy.
