Tori Mellott, Moderator
Tori has been an editor for more than twenty years and has held posts at House Beautiful, Elle Decor, Domino, Martha Stewart, Traditional Home, and is currently the Style Director of Frederic magazine and Director of Video for FSCO Media. Robin Henry
Robin Henry Studio is an interior design practice known for its use of color, refined furnishings, and imaginative detail to create inviting residential interiors.
Robin possesses a broad knowledge of design and aesthetics, having worked as an artist and gallerist before turning to interior design. She trained for eight years at the firm of Katie Ridder in New York before founding the Studio in 2012. She has managed numerous projects throughout the US and as far afield as New Zealand, Argentina, and the Bahamas.
Robin’s work has been published in House Beautiful, Elle Décor, New York Cottages & Gardens, Traditional Home and New England Home, among others. She was honored as a “Rising Star of Interior Design” by Traditional Home, and as a “Next Wave” designer by House Beautiful.
Today the Studio is based in New York City, and accepts projects throughout the country. Robin resides in Westport, Connecticut with her husband, writer Andrew Goldman, and two sons.
Laura Hodges
In 2018, Home & Design featured Laura as one of their ‘Designers to Watch.’ And 2019 brought more accolades when Laura was featured in Traditional Home as a New Trad and in House Beautiful’s Next Wave. Most recently, Laura was named one of the top 20 Designers for 2020 by Sotheby’s Home and she won a Luxe Red Award for best Contemporary/Modern space from Luxe Magazine. Laura is also a brand ambassador for the Sustainable Furnishings Council, working to increase awareness for sustainable interior design. Laura has completed projects in Florida, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey and New York
Nestor Santa-Cruz
Nestor Santa-Cruz brings a special and sophisticated perspective to all his interior design projects.
Nestor was born in Cuba, and holds a Master of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech. He has received numerous design awards from national and international organizations. In 2004 he was inducted into the Washington Design Hall of Fame. He is also included in Washingtonian’s Top DC Designers list and is a member of Home & Design’s Design Hall of Fame.
The Santa-Cruz style is modern and restrained, yet classic; always visually comfortable and engaging. Nestor has a keen and judicious eye for proportion and color, always finding the perfect architectural detail resulting in a complete design solution. He draws inspiration from an array of both classical and contemporary references.
Nestor’s work is published frequently in Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Veranda, Millieu, Aspire Design & Home, Southern Home, Interiors, Washington Home & Design, 1stdibs Introspective, Objekt, and other national and international publications.
In addition to his boutique interior design practice, Nestor is a Design Principal at Gensler in Washington, DC.
